Susan Lipshutz discusses the healing process and journey of her clients in an interview by Abigail Zoe Martin. The Chicago Lights series features interviews Abigail conducted with 81 Chicagoans for an audio/visual project showingat the Zhou B Art Center until January 12, 2019.

The people interviewed come from all walks of life and backgrounds. Some are highly successful and very well known whilst others make up the fabric of society. You will hear a teacher, firefighter, doctor and judge and a singer, puppet maker and plus-size burlesque dancer, plus many others. Each one shares their beliefs and loves and might feel as if you have chanced upon a beautiful and meaningful conversation.

While we will not be able to see this extraordinary event in North America, as women we understand that within each of us is a deep innate connection to the timeless wisdom of the Moon and her cycles. When the Earth creates a shadow over the moon it allows emotional patterns to be shed, shifted and redirected in harmony with our intuitive knowing and desire for liberation and growth. Total lunar eclipses are also referred to as Blood Moons as the moon shadow creates a rose hue to the glow cast in the night’s sky. This eclipse is connected to the New Moon Solar eclipse we had on January 31. 2018.

Women Gathering together at potent times creates a portal for shared initiation, reflection and collective healing. This gathering will include a brief sharing of the current Astro cycles and engagement in rich embodiment practices to move, clear and reset patterns sourced from our sacred feminine lunar nature.
